Our school, the 2nd EPAL of Galatsi,
in the frame of ERASMUS KA1 programme "All our students! All Unique, All
Different", participated in a training seminar in Finland entitled "Migrants’
course: Let’s use ICT in teaching & learning of Newly-Arrived Migrants".
The programme was implemented by
the European hosting partner organisation "Euneos" in English, from
September 23 to September 29, 2018, at a large vocational high school, with 3000
undergraduates and 1,000 adult students in the Helsinki region of Vantaa, in
collaboration with teachers and managers of this region for the integration of
migrants and refugees in Finnish schools.
Guided tours were conducted in
state-of-the-art laboratories and fully equipped building facilities of the
Varia Vantaa Vocational College. The project was based on communication,
exchange of views and interactive participation of learners in new digital
technologies and their use as teaching tools. The digital tools taught during
the seminar were as follows: Thinglink platform, Pic Collage, Drag and Drop,
Videos, H5P, Pictures and Images, Quizlet, Kahoot, Pictures and Images, Camera

training seminar, along with teachers from Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden and
Slovenia and teachers from the prefectures of Pella and the Dodecanese (Kalymnos).
This is the second part of this Erasmus
mobility programme in which our school participates after the completion of its
